About us

Trust, innovation, quality

Community Matters has been the trusted workforce development partner of NHS organisations, councils and charities across London since 2010. Our apprenticeship provision grew out of that work, and it still shows.

Our story

Since 2010 we have been committed to enhancing skills, unlocking potential and building brighter futures through workforce planning and development, mainly in the public sector. We are passionate about helping our clients inspire transformation and deliver improved social and economic outcomes for the communities they serve.

Alongside apprenticeships, Community Matters programme-manages the North East London and Camden Training Hubs on behalf of NHS England, which keeps us close to the day-to-day realities of general practice, primary care networks and integrated neighbourhood teams. That is why our programmes talk about EMIS and QOF, ICBs and INTs, in addition to generic skills.

Using our flexible approach, our apprenticeship training responds to both employers' and learners' needs and priorities through additional tailor-made modules, and we can run closed cohorts for a single organisation or system.

Our mission for apprenticeships: to empower individuals and organisations within the public and private sectors by delivering transformative apprenticeship programmes that build sustainable skills, foster innovation and create pathways for inclusive workforce development.
